Applicants should have a strong background in vision or perception research and a specific knowledge of ocular-motor control would be particularly welcome. The primary role will be empirical research into vergence and accommodation responses using a remote binocular robot head and will involve direct collaboration with the Department of Cybernetics. The successful applicant will join a team of researchers working on a range of projects exploring perception with Virtual Environment systems based on both PC and SGI hardware.
