3D Interactive games for TV

There is also a French Working Group for Virtual Reality.  There was
an announcement for a workshop in VR presented by that group posted in
October, 1996.  Below is an excerpt:

"This working group was created at the beginning of 1994 year, with the
help of the CNRS (French National Center of Scientic Research). This
group is composed of 25 academic and industrial research teams from
all regions of France. The aim is to federate the research efforts of
the teams working in the different application fields of virtual
reality.
