Julieta Maria,

Have you considered VRML? The advantage is that you can navigate VRML
worlds with normal www browsers or with public domain tools that you could
include with your CD. The disadvantage is that the worlds are quite
static (VRML 1.0).

At EAFIT (Medellin, Colombia) we user WorldToolkit (by Sense8). The
advantage is that you can create applications in which objects of the
world responde to events. WorldToolkit also has drivers for some head
mounted displays and gloves, in case some of your users have such devices.
You would have to talk to Sense8 about distributing you application,
though.

You could also consider Virtus and other not so sophisticated tools. You
can also contact Pablo Figueroa, at Universidad de Los Andes. He has done
some work on Virtual Walkthroughs. It would be great if the three of us
could share experiences...

Hasta pronto!
