TOPIC:    Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML).
                What it is.  What it is not.  What it might become., 

SPEAKER:  Mr. V. Wayne Ingalls, the Boeing Company. 

COST:     Public $10, NaiF members free.  Complementary
                parking until 9 p.m. for all attendees in the College
                Club garage.  

ABSTRACT

The seminar will be a guided tour of the Virtual Worlds of
Cyberspace.  Along the way, Mr. Ingalls will discuss the process
that was used to develop the VRML language standard and it's
current state.  He will talk about the various browser and
development tools that are available now and those currently in
development. He will present a "Grand Vision" for the future of
this technology.

BIOGRAPHY

V. Wayne Ingalls is a Senior Principal Scientist with the Boeing
Defense & Space Group.  He is the current President of The
Society for Computer Simulation International and a member of
NaiF.  He has nearly forty years of experience in computer
simulation and related technologies.

DINNER & AI

NaiF members and non-members are invited to come early and
order your own dinner from the College Club's delicious and
economical menu.  The College Club offers free beer and some soft
drink selections to Club members and their guests (that includes all
NaiF program participants) during their "happy hour" from 5 to 7
p.m.  Why not come directly from work (please arrive by 5:30
p.m.) and join the NaiF Board, NaiF members and friends in a
great dinner before the evening program?  To aid in their planning,
the College Club requires a count of NaiF dinner participants.

SOCIAL HOUR

Come early (or join us after dinner) and network with other AI
