There have been an increasing number of postings under the HOME-BREW:
subject tag recently. People trying to hook up their PowerGlove, etc.
Although this group does allow for the discussion of home-brew issues,
the postings so far have been basic, how to get started issues.

This newsgroup is a part of the sci. hierarchy where the discussion
level should be kept above the basic "reference book"/how to postings.
I'd like to encourage postings as well to the Homebrew-vr mailing list
that is dedicated to these issues.

Homebrew-vr

Non-commercial list server for those interested in "low-cost" virtual reality
devices. To join, send e-mail: <homebrew-vr-request@acm.uiuc.edu>
with subject of "subscribe."

There are also a number of excellent books to help you get started.

I am developing a FAQ to answer the basic Homebrew questions, suggestions
about commercial resources, software, books and other references would be
greatly appreciated. So far, I've been quite redundant in referring people
constantly to Chris Hands Homebrew Page:
