Hi All,

I would like to point out that my UPPERCASES are just to point
out particular aspects of the e-mail I have send last week not
shouts.

I relation to Dr. Robin's comments I would like to point out that
even thought a mouse may have been a new concept it was not
within the concept of buffer interface. The idea of moving left or
right with left and right hand movements goes back to the first
airplane where a simple stick could provide similar movements
to the movements of the mouse. If a light pen would make more
sense why didn't light pens take off when they become available?

As far as VR gloves Dr. Robin's experience may be more in relation
to people who have some involvement with VR or have heard about them.
At this moment I am in Portugal and when I talk about VR gloves and
try to explain what this new technology is all about I have some
difficulty in finding points of reference even to those who already
know a little about computers. But when the message gets through
the question these people tend to ask is why hasn't such technology
been available before. It's almost like taken these people back
to school. The point is that this new technology can only develop if
people can develop points of reference for such technology like
it was done with computers earlier on.

To finish, I still maintain that VR technology/development would
not grow at game level until VR is available in schools and
within the educational system. I also hope that Forte, makers
of affordable HMDs, see the light and target educational institutions
with reduced prices like software companies such as ThemeKit.

BTW. I have one copy already :-)

Bye for now.
Jorge.
