Excerpt from Press Release follows:

Knowhaus have developed two innovative applications demonstrating 3D ID
in action:=20

=B7 =91Logo Worlds=92 The first small scale application translates a comp=
any
logo into a navigable Virtual Reality (VR) environment.=20
=20
=B7 =91Virtual Showcase=92 The second larger application integrates a VR
environment with an audio, video, graphics and text database. =20
=20

Knowhaus=92s =91Logo World=92 is a small scale 3D ID application. It show=
s how
effective a dynamic VR environment can be. Users navigate through the
company=92s own logo which features individual elements orbiting accordin=
g
to a pre-programmed geometry. These elements contain fractal style
graphics and ambient sounds as well as company information. =20

Greenpeace=92s =91Virtual Showcase=92 the VR Rainbow Warrior represents t=
he
first serious venture by a major brand into the new medium. It is a
large scale 3D ID application, built to celebrate Greenpeace=92s 25th
anniversary.=20

The model is built to scale from the ship=92s original plans using the
Internet VR language VRML 2. It is an interface to a multi media
database. Users navigating around the ship will find objects to explore
such as the dolphin masthead and Greenpeace dinghies used in actions.
Proximity sensors detect where you are and respond, easing navigation.=20

The interior of the ship features an interactive bridge and a gallery
where visitors can curate their own multi media exhibitions to tell
stories from the history of the extraordinary and controversial
campaigning organisation.      =20

The VR Rainbow Warrior is an ongoing project. Planned developments
include video streaming, guided tours and avatars=20
