Since no-one else came to the rescue, I spent an hour or so last night 
checking continuities in the spider connection of CyberMaxx 1.0 HMD. I 
don't know if the CyberMaxx 2.0 is the same, but I'm guessing it probably 
is. The connections seem fairly straight forward, but as usual, if it all 
goes up in smoke - don't blame me!

Here goes:

CyberMaxx Spider connections:

Pin Number       Connected to:
1                0V 
2                +9V
3                VGA pin 1
4                VGA pin 5
5                VGA pin 2
6                VGA pin 6
7                VGA pin 3
8                0V
9                VGA pin 14
10               VGA pin 13
11               Composite Video

13               Audio (left?)

15               Serial Port pin 3
16               Serial Port pin 2
17               0V
18               nc
19               nc

21               nc

The 0V lines should be connected to:

Power Supply 0V
Audio Screen
Video Screen
Serial Port pin 5
VGA pin 7
VGA pin 8
VGA pin 10
VGA pin 11
