Election Ballot - Virtual Environments Technical Group

(Only Members and Fellows of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society who
have paid VETG dues may vote.)

BACKGROUPS OF THE NOMINEES ARE GIVEN BELOW.


TECHNICAL GROUP CHAIR  (two year term)
Duties: Conducting TG activities including the Annual Meeting, publishing
the Group's Newsletter (at least twice a year), setting the membership dues
rate, maintaining the TG mailing list, and answering inquiries.

Candidates:
        Steve Ellis
        Larry Hettinger
        Kay Stanney

        My choice is (Vote for one of the above):   

ANNUAL MEETING PROGRAM CHAIR (two year term)
Duties:	Responsible for the development of the TG's technical program
through solicitation and review of technical paper submittals and
symposia/panel discussion proposals.

ANNUAL MEETING PROGRAM CHAIR DESIGNATE 
Duties:	Assist the Annual Meeting Program Chair and become Annual Meeting

        the past two years.  Co-founder of the Virtual Environments
Technical Group.

Joseph L. Gabbard - Ph.D. Candidate in the Computer Science Dept. Virginia
Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
        Current research focuses on usability in VEs; hence the interest in
VTEG.

        Dr. W. Todd Nelson conceives, plans,and executes a program of basic

interface technology.
