I was just thinking the other day that there exists a relatively
powerful 3D graphics workstation that is cheap, already present in
many homes and has no compatability problens - the Nintendo 64... The
idea of a home internet unit that works with a TV has always been let
down by that fact that the web browser concept does not apply very
well to television.. A VRML compliant system running on an N64 could
(in the future) solve this problem. All it needs is some network
hardware in a VRML friendly world wide web... Everyone knows how to
use the control interface - its a just a joystick.

Anyway, just a thought.
