developed by Native American Indians to be cited in the

Our article will overview the primary uses of the WWW by Pacific
Northwest Native Americans.  We will highlight several unique
educational, community, and tribal websites and distance learning
projects. We will also identify several websites addressing the social
and political uses of the WWW by Pac. NW Natives, i.e. Northwest
Indian Fisheries Commission.  In addition, we will provide an example
of a virtual, immersive native site with some suggestions of how VRML
might be used by Native Americans for exploring social issues
pertaining to our culture.
