VR Research Studentship
AIMS Research Unit
University of Nottingham


We're looking for a Ph.D. Student to undertake a three year VR project
 within the AIMS Research Unit. The AIMS Unit is a dynamic group within the
engineering faculty dedicated to providing rapidly developed VR solutions
to engineering problems.

The applicants should have a good first degree in computer science (or
similar) and extensive knowledge of C++ preferably on a PC platform.
Knowledge of 3D Studio MAX, Direct X, Renderware or VR environments an
advantage.

The student will be expected to integrate into the existing work of the
group and pursue research work into the area of industrial safety and
training.

UK Applications prefered.

Research Grant Approx #5,200 per annum.
