Pompeu Fabra) Hi, We bought an i-glasses! head set (from Virtual i-O) with the tracker drivers for SGI, about 18 months ago. We have been working without problems on an SGI Indigo2 Extreme with IRIX6.3. We now have to work with an SGI Octane (IRIX6.4) and tried the SAME program that we were using on the Indigo2 and doesn't work on it. The two main differences we have are: 1. The serial port on the Indigo2 is an 8pin DIN whereas the port on the Octane is a DB9. Therefore we are using different serial cables, but we think this should not be a problem. 2. The OS in the Indigo2 is 6.3 whereas on the Octane is 6.4. We think perhaps the libraries of the tracker driver don't work with IRIX6.4. We would appreciate VERY MUCH any help on the matter.
