I've noticed a few sites depicting Mars in VRML and was wondering what
others think about the use of this technology applied to future
missions. (The latest Mars/VRML site I've seen is at
http://cosmo.sgi.com.) Besides showing photos three dimensionally, how
do you think it could add value?

I was thinking an engineer could manipulate a VRML prototype over an
intranet and provide a complete walk through of its assembly and
applications. Also, I would think it could also be used for simulation
training, allowing trainees to interact with objects at their own
pace. I welcome your thoughts.
