Dear fellow colleagues,

The VRML 98 Symposium will be held in Monterey, California, February
16-19, 1998. VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) is a technology
for making 3D content available on the World Wide Web.

The annual VRML Symposium is the single most important event for the
VRML community. It is designed to bring together developers,
experimenters, content creators and anyone interested in using or
enhancing VRML.

We would like to encourage EVERYONE, who is active in the VRML field, to
participate and most ideally - submit work or ideas in the categories
of:

 + Papers
 + Panels
 + Courses
 + Workshops
 + Video

The Deadlines for Papers:

 + Paper Deadline: October 1st
+ Notification of Authors: November 1st
+ Final papers due: December 1st

For the other categories, please consult the web-sit at:

and

 http://ece.uwaterloo.ca:80/vrml98/call.html

The conference will run for four days. The first two will consist of
tutorials and workshops, the second two will consist of papers and
panels. A variety of different events will be organized during the
evenings, including a Demo Night in which some of the best and most
innovative uses of VRML will be highlighted.

Looking forward to your participation - and with the best wishes.

Yours,

Christian Bauer
