Check out www.activeworlds.com there's a free download of the browser. There are many universities developing worlds here, along with a VirtualU contest currently going on. There's also many nationalities represented with their own world such as French, German, Spanish and even Brasil :) Each of these national worlds speak in native tounge ( a good place to learn a language) btw.. if you do drop in, watch for my world Auburn.
