I've posted with this info before in this newsgroup, but wish to inform
any of you who are willing to pay for professional info about VR
software that you will soon be able to purchase a business report
titled 'Virtual Software'.  This is a survey, buyer's guide, and
analysis of commercial VR software.  This 100+ page report includes a
lengthy introduction section with a textbook-like description of VR
software, detailed product and corporate descriptions of 30+ vendors,
and some tables that compare products on a large number of features.
It includes VR runtime systems and programmer's toolkits as well as 3D
modeler and CAD software for importable VR data files, plus some clip
art and texture library products.

The report is due for publication in January.  Further info including
