The VEOS project taught us many valuable lessons about the
architecture and practical implementation of distributed operating systems
that support virtual worlds. We are now incorporating these lessons and the
results of other academic and industrial efforts in this area to
formulate a new Lab strategy for distributed operating system for virtual
worlds. We are not currently actively developing, distributing or
supporting VEOS.
