New Virtual Reality information service available
-------------------------------------------------

The Fraunhofer-Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation
(IPA) in Stuttgart has established a new information system providing
all informations about VR the Institute is dealing with. As part of
the DemonstrationCentre for VR which is an institution founded by the
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, IPA is carring out VR research for 2 1/2
years now.  

The task of the DemoCentre is to provide small and medium sized
enterprises with the new technologies for their beneficial
application.  Within this DemoCentre educational services like
tutorials, seminars and and conferences are provided.  Additionaly,
projects together with the industry in the area of VR are carried out.

The DemoCentre is well equipped with High-End VR Systems, with
commercial software and software systems developed by IPA. All
information e.g. product data sheets, published papers, brochures,
flyers and latest informations can now be obtained on this new FTP
Site.
