Dear members, a little time was needed to get familiar with the features of the list provider but now we should: -be able to reply to the all list just by pushing "reply" and not "reply all" -the subject of the ARforum emails should have [ARforum] at the beginning Thanks Yohan ----- Original Message ----- From: bandit To: arforum@t ......... I have a little more info: Dave Graham of io-displays sez that they should handle both field and frame sequential the 3d version will be available from the start. the delay has been they need to get tooling for metal cases because they have enough heat disapation issues they need the metal case as a heat sink. However, Oct still looks good. They have everything in place except for the case. Hot damn..... bandit bandit wrote: > see http://www.i-glasses.com/Store/SVGA.php3 for the details. > The page specifies: > Resolution: 800 x 600 > Field of View: 26 Degrees Diagonal > Image Size: 76" at 13' > Color Depth: 24 Bit Input > IPD Adjustments: None Required > Focus: 13' TBR > Eye Relief: 25mm > Exit Pupil: 17mmH x 6mmV > Convergence: 7'10", 100% Overlap, TBR > VGA / SVGA / XVGA Input: Scaled to SVGA (800 x 600) > Video Input (Plug & Play): Composite / S-video Input > Stereo 3D Capable: Optional Feature > Refresh Rate: Flicker Free 120hz > Audio: Full Stereo > Weight: < 7 Ounces > Adjusts to Fit all Individuals > Control Features: On / Off, Volume Control > Power Supply: 100-240V AC Power Cube > HMD Cable Configuration: Audio: 1/8" > Power: Barrel Connector > > Cost is $1K, $900 if you order now. > > If they are true to form, it will be frame sequential, but I have no > specific details > See the website for those > > > I hit "reply" and I got Jason Jerald's address as the "to" address, > not the mailing list > > .... bandit > > > > Jason Jerald wrote: > >> >> Any idea what the field of view is for the the io-display hmds? Anyone have news on SVGA (or higher) _see-through_ glasses that support stereo? Most of our work is done using optical see-through like the high-end glasstron.
