anything:) Two independent implementations of YUV420 hitting the list in
the same time, that's a great support.
Uwe, I have successfully run your code and it works great, no problems
with image or colors. So for the moment there is no need to correct
Hirokazu's implementation, unless it is to be included in the next
release.

I use the following options for the pwc driver: size=vga and fps=15 and 
  load the pwcx module.

you can add the following two lines to your modules.conf, then it should 
all be done automatically:
options pwc size=vga fps=15
post-install pwc /sbin/insmod -f pwcx
