Video Device (/dev/video) open failed

Hi,

I am using Redhat Linux and when trying to run simpleTest, I get the
following
error:  video device (/dev/video) open failed.

I am using a Logitech Quickcam 3000 Pro, which I have tested
successfully with
camstream.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
