Subject: | Camera calibration | ||
Hello everyone, I have two questions concerning the camera (Logitech 3000 Pro). I am using 2.52 on a PC. 1. The image is reversed left<->right. How do I correct this without recompiling code? 2. I am finding it difficult to run calib_dist because the mouse pointer is rarely visible, because of camera refresh or something. Any suggestions? Also, does anyone have tips for mounting the camera and the goggles (i-glasses) as a single unit? Thanks! Regards, David K. Drum david@m ....... |

Try checking the "Flip Image Horizontal" box on the camera dialog box that opens when ARToolKit starts. > 2. If you break open the Logitech 3000 camera the circuit board inside is pretty small. Put this into a cheap plastic box and velcro or glue it to the head mounted display. Hope this helps.. I went to Start->Settings->Control Panel->Mouse->Pointers and discovered that I am using the "(None)" scheme. I detected no change when I tried the "Windows Default" scheme. Thanks for the suggestion. Regards, David K. Drum david@m ....... |

That box is shaded out. I am using the ARToolKit2.52 Software with VRML support [7.7mb] (Windows Direct Show Version with OpenVRML rendering) from the download site. Is that the best one to use? Thanks! Regards, David K. Drum david@m ....... |
