ARtoolkit with analog camera

Hi,

I've got ARtoolkit2.65 and work under linux with a
NVIDIA tnt2 with video-in. So i tried to use 
the Toolkit with a Video8 camera via video-in. 
It starts but the system chrashes when opening 
the output window.
Does anybody know, why this happens?
xawtv works well.
