Switching cameras?

I have been working with a Irez kritter USB camera, but the resolution is 
too low so I went out and got a logitech usb camera but for some reason 
ANy ARtoolkit programs I try to run just seem to crash whenever I load 
them they work fine when I rerun them with the old camera.I dont remember 
ever telling ARToolkit which camera to use why is it not using the other 
web cam. any help would be appreciated.
