Subject: | Automated Multi-Marker Calibration | ||
I'm currently working on a project that involves using a set of markers to register some global coordinate space. I've been trying to lay out the markers and write the transformation matrices by hand, with limited success...As I was working on it today, I realized the ARToolkit could probably do a better job of calculating the transformation matrices than I can, and well an automated multi-marker calibration tool using the ARToolkit seems like an obvious next step. Turns out a few people figured this out already, and presented such a system at ISMAR last year in a paper called "Interactive multi-marker calibration for augmented reality applications". Does anyone know if this system was ever made available? I can't seem to find a web page or code for the project. Have other similar tools been developed that are available? It'd be nice to be able to use a well-developed tool instead of reinventing the wheel. Thanks, -steve diverdi -sdiverdi@c .......... |
