Hi, Using an external pose estimation system, how can I get the OpenGL graphics in ARToolKit to be correctly registered with the camera image? How can I get the scaling between the pose units of the pose system to OpenGL units? Thanks! |

Thanks Matt, -that is almost all I need. But what exactly is the "size", "s", or the "dist_factor[3]"? I have understood that it is some sort of scaling factor, but how is it calculated? In Wayne's paper from ART-02, it is 1.009989. Does this relate somehow to the units used [mm] in real world? When I calibrate the camera, if I enter [mm] as unit, will this reflect on the "size"/"scale factor" parameter? I have searched throught the mailinglist, and also checked out this explanation: http://www.sys.im.hiroshima-cu.ac.jp/people/kato/etc/distortion_factor.gif , but I still haven't found a mathematical expression for this "size" or "scale factor". Thanks, anyone!! Torbjørn Matt Adcock <Matt.Adcock@c .......> 27.08.2003 04:29 To: Torbjorn Engedal/NOCRC/ABB@A .. cc: Subject: Re: ARToolKit with external pose estimator Security Level:? Hello, I wonder what the p factor is. Is it some kind of pinch-factor ? /Bjorn -----Original Message----- From: torbjorn.engedal@n .........
