hi all, I have a tricky question..... Must the white square measure the half size of the black one? :( or it can be any size?....I mean, the blank pattern must be with the white square like that or I can make it a little bit bigger?....(too long and too late to explain why I want to do that :)..... |

Hi I am not sure if this is the answer you are looking for. But we have made an application where we made the white square bigger whithout changing the size of the black edge and it worked fine. As far as I know the ARToolkit tracking algorithm is trying to find the four outer corners of the marker. --- Sune Kristensen Quoting BSS <BegoSS@t ..........>: > hi all, > > I have a tricky question..... > > Must the white square measure the half size of the black one? :( or it can > be any size?....I mean, the blank pattern must be with the white square like > that or I can make it a little bit bigger?....(too long and too late to > explain why I want to do that :)..... > > > |

You can make any size of inside pattern. However only the half size region is used for pattern identification. Therefore even if you draw something outside of half size region, it does not affect pattern identification. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hirokazu Kato Graduate School of Engineering Science Osaka University Phone: +81-6-6850-6381 Email: kato@s ...................
