calibrating firewire camera freeze

hi all,

i'm on linux with a standard sony dv camera. trying to run calib_dist, 
it doesn't work... well yes for the first capture, but if i want to grab 
more position it doesn't work. still freezing. i have to CTL-C to quit. 
same thing with calib_cparam.

no problem with v4l.

anyone know why?
