Subject: | Capture from JVC GR-HD1 | ||
Dear, Is there anyone who knows how to capture the MPEG2 input stream of JVC GR-HD1 camera? ARToolkit basically assumes 640x480 DV input through i-link (1394), and it could not detect the device appropriately . However, my new Apple G5 (Tiger) is able to capture the 1280x720p HD video by the software iMOVIE HD, which means that it may be possible in ARToolkit as well. The video was successfully captured in Windows, too, in Adobe Premier. Any comment is very welcome. Best, Y. |

Which ARToolKit version are you using? 2.70.1 should handle variable size video streams.. but I'll tell you what: you send me one of those cameras and I'll make sure that it works just fine ;-) Phil.
