Subject: | ARToolKitPlus and Python | ||
Hi, Before I get started with wrapping ARToolKitPlus for python, I wanted to check if anybody has already done that and would not mind sharing its wrapper with me. I did wrappe ARToolKit for python pretty easily as it is C code but I am not very familiar with C++ so it make it more challenging for me to wrappe ARToolKitPlus. Any help or advice, Thanks Alex -- o Alexandre Gillet email: gillet@s .......... / The Scripps Research Institute, o Dept. Hi Alex, While I haven't written python wrappers for ARToolkitPlus, this is on my to-do list. Unless they already exist, I'd be happy to help out. I'm working on Windows using VC Express. Let me know by direct email. (BTW, I have subversion repository for such open-source projects.) Dear Alex, It would be very nice to have ARToolkit for python because some of my friends are not familiar with C. Would you let me know where I can get it? Thank you in advance. Y. Hi Alex, Yongduck and other ARToolkit folks. How far did the python bindings go ? I haven't seen much activity, neither the code, on PyARTK [1]. Another initiative was a pyrex-based ancient implementation at [2] (which use to work one year ago, iirc). I'd would like to know if you, and hopefully other community members, are still interested in working on it as FOSS project. I'm also in the in the *debianization* of artk and related projects, mainly to get the development environment integrated in Ubuntu (Edubuntu). Regards.
