In winter of 1995, staff and students at the CEDeS Lab undertook a project simulating an architectural interior for Westin Hotels. Westin Hotels is interested in the design and development of hotel rooms tailored to the business traveler of the 21st century. They provided a design of a guest room, which the CEDeS Lab modeled and simulated as an animation. The guest room features a large bathroom complete with an exercise area, a bed which folds to a sofa for daytime use, and glass of variable transparency controlled by the hotel guest.
