DO-IT Program

The HIT Lab was honored to be a destination for the DO-IT Program
(Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology) in August 1993.
The program allows disabled high school students to learn more about careers in
science, engineering and mathematics. DO-IT funding is provided by NSF and the
UW. HITL salutes two other contributors to this excellent program--Virtual
World Consortium members, Microsoft Corp. and US WEST Communications.
