Changing your password

Open a Unix shell window. At the command line type "passwd". You will be prompted for your old password, and then asked for a new password. Once you enter your new password you will be asked to retype the new password to confirm. Once entered the system will proceed to update the password database on all four machines.

Linked Lightscape tutorial directory

In order to access the Lightscape tutorial files you need to have a link to the /LVSdemos directory. To create this link type the following imediately after logging-in within a Unix shell: "ln -s /home/jnd/LVSdemo/ . ". Make sure you remember to type the period at the end of the path name. This will create a symbolic link in your home directory named "LVSdemo". In this directory you will find the tutorial files for Lightscape.
