Directions

The HITLab is located in the College of Built Environment's Pacific Northwest Center for Construction Research and Education, which became operational in Autumn, 2009. The center is in historic Building 5 of the old Sand Point Naval Air Station.

Directions to the center from the south are as follows:

  1. From I-5, Take exit 168B to merge onto WA-520 E toward Bellevue/Kirkland
  2. Take the Mountlake Blvd exit toward Univ of Wash
  3. Merge onto E Lake Washington Blvd
  4. Turn left at Montlake Blvd E
  5. Bear right onto NE 45th St
  6. Continue straight through the 5-way intersection
  7. 45th St becomes Sand Point Way NE
  8. Turn right at NE 74th St
  9. Turn left at 63rd Ave NE
  10. Building 5 is on your left. Enter the door under the historical "SUPPLY DEPARTMENT" sign.

From the north,

  1. From I-5, Take exit 172 toward NE 80th St
  2. Turn left at NE 80th St
  3. Take the 1st right onto Banner Way NE
  4. Continue onto NE 75th St
  5. Turn right at 35th Ave NE
  6. Take the 1st left onto NE 70th St
  7. Turn left at Sand Point Way NE
  8. Turn right at NE 74th St
  9. Turn left at 63rd Ave NE
  10. Building 5 is on your left. Enter the door under the historical "SUPPLY DEPARTMENT" sign.
