Winyu is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering. His thesis is largely based on the interactive Virtual Retinal Display technology, one of the lab's key projects.
Winyu has a strong research interest in tracking systems, augmented reality and Fusion algorithms (DSP). He has a Bachelor and Masters degree in electrical engineering. Prior to coming to the United States Winyu worked in a home satellite installation department in Thailand for three years.
Prior to starting his Ph.D. at the HITLab, Winyu worked as Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering programming an assembly code to test a DSP chip.
Winyu has a great passion for all aspects of soccer. Not only is he an avid follower but also an active player.
